I will be impressed when McCain can build a time machine, go back to August 29, 2005, refuse to have a photo-op with Bush and instead demand that he focus on the state of emergency in New Orleans and elsewhere; then changes all those nay votes related to Katrina aid to yays.

I'm watching Bush at the Fema center in Austin Texas and he is busily helping by getting his pictures taken with everybody in sight. I don't know how they could have done their jobs without the president being there to halt operations as he walks around.

The question is related to his attempt to salvage his already dismal prospects of a successful convention by attempting to pretend that he is helping with the response to the hurricane.

Bush is sitting in the Fema Ops center and if he is doing anything productive I'd be hugely surprised, but that is the reason why he can't do a speech at the convention....(he needed to do photo ops and disrupt operations).
