Obama's party while Rome burns (metaphorically)
by Gatesta
-1 Reply
John McCain has again proven what a man tortured by the North Vietcong can when backed up against a wall. He calls off the first day of the Republican convention and named a woman from Alaska as his Vice President choice.

The democrats held their lovefest while severe weather conditions have been predicted annually (they don't call it Hurricane season for nothing.) And Gustav was inevitable since the naming order of storms happens months earlier.

And what has Obama done during that time that a tropical depression was being forecasted for later that week, he made a speech last Thursday after a week of debauchery and post coital Hillary love in the Mile HIGH City (emphasis from the millions of people who know what really goes on in Denver and Democratic Conventions).

And where was the concern and worry for Gustav and New Orleans then? No cancellations of speeches. No one flew into New Orleans to speak of the coming devestations. As Obama naysayed the war in Iraq and what kind of problems that would cause, he completely ignored the future second destruction of America's Delta city (Not to be confused with Delta City, Utah, which has not benefited from being flooded or other natural disasters but its very close to Goshute Nuclear Dump so keep your fingers close and Delta City, Mississippi, is a poser - not even on the delta and would have been wiped off the map by Katrina).

McCain has shown foresight in postponing Monday's activities including Bush's and Cheney's speeches (they were rescheduled for 2016) and choosing Sarah Palin, a Washington outsider. Barely a governor of barely a state, Palin shows McCain, with five years POW experience, to be one of the cagiest (no pun intended) politicians out there.

Like Hawks genderbent THE FRONT PAGE into the classic HIS GIRL FRIDAY, McCain is doing the same to THE DEER HUNTER by bringing in the female moose hunter. Added bonus, she has not shot anyone in the face (as far as anyone knows.) And what does Obama gives us, a golfing elitist who has probably not yelled fore as often as he should. Probably plays through without asking as well.
That bastard!

Oh, yeah. She's also a woman. Take that Hillary lovers.

So once again, Obama proves just how out of touch he is by proving someone almost everyone likes. And McCain proves how much he has his finger on the pulse of the nation by picking a woman who hates abortions and large animals.

LMFAO! You need to go back no farther than McCains record during Katrina and all of the votes against helping the victims! Heckuva job brownie!
Spare me!

@Gatesta:

You're right! You're so right! What was I thinking all of last week when an unpredictable weather pattern near the Gulf of Mexico was developing?

Shame on me for continuing with my daily existence! How pathetic that when I went to the bank people were still working!

How ridiculous that everyone was still going to work and spending their evenings in movie theaters, restaurants and bars when maybe, something, was going to happen several days from then in New Orleans.

The insanity!

You're right... everyone in the country should have stopped what they were doing - before people were formally being evacuated mind you - and waited on pins and needles to see if the storm actually hit land.

Take a look at a calendar Gatesta! New Orleans wasn't destroyed during the DNC and if it is (God forbid) it won't be because of the DNC.

Obama made his speech August 28, 2008 - that's 4 days ago.

Hurricane Gustav landed in Louisiana this morning, September 1, 2008.

Jesus Christ, it must take a lot of effort to be that self delusional Gatesta! In case you hadn't noticed, the Republicans had planned their convention in the middle of the hurricane season too. It would be pretty impossible not to do so considering the election in in the same period!

Wow, he plays golf...what an elitist bastard!! He probably finishes up a round with some aragula in the clubhouse!! What a snob!

Well, someone was thinking about Gustav. FEMA, now with flow charts of constigency plans, was already making plans on Thursday, the day the great Obama delivered his sermon from the mountains while dozens from Haiti and the Dominican Republic drowned. They chose, for fear of drowning, to not subject themselves to a perilous sea voyage to steal American hospitality service industry jobs but still were taken by the ocean waters anyway. How ironic. But not as ironic as Obama and his ilk reminding the nation of Katrina while not even bothering to recognize Gustav.

Plus, LSU has to postpone its home opener, thanks to Obama not paying attention. I guess a mind is a terrible thing to waste as long as it goes to Harvard (which dresses up its forensics society for special team assignments).

As for Biden and being elitist. He is also a murder suspect. He has never once denied any involvement in his first wife's car accident. Look it up. Find me one time where he denies killing his wife.

Be sure to let your doctors know you blame changes to LSU's football schedule on Senator Obama's "not paying attention." Delusions like individual legislators being able to move the paths of hurricanes are the sort of thing they likely find important.
Now I get it!

@ Gatesta:

Well played sir. Well played. All this time I thought you were serious but you are one crafty satirist!

You had me going right up to the LSU home-opener.

My hat's off to you sir. Very funny! Now that I get it, I can't stop laughing. Boy did you have me going; I genuinely thought you were deluded! Good show.

Is Dominican Republic and Haiti territories of the U.S.? If not, I'm not sure what the point was in bringing them up other than to point out that the storm might here.

And what a horrible thing to accuse a man who lost his wife and child in an accident of murder. Let's hope that you are never in an accident with your family while in a car. I would never made statements like that---karma is a b----h!
