The Operative "V" Word

At the risk of accentuating the obvious, the choice of Sarah Palin is about the "v" word. Not vision. Not voice, although either would be a welcome development. Votes. It's about reaching out to the one-issue-bound groups that expressed doubts about McCain, not so long ago. Beyond that, Palin represents the Republican idea of the generic ideal woman, and "right" out of central casting.

The other operative "V" word that may have been considered is Vasectomy for the "First Dude" before knocking up a 43 yo Governor with political aspirations beyond the 700,000 Alaskans.

Isn't that judgment?
