I have to hand it to the Republicans. In about 48 hours you folks have invented a whole theological system centered around Sarah Palin. It consists of the following points of dogma:

1. Any job that Sarah Palin had was more important than the job Barack Obama had at the same point in his career.

2. Whatever job Sarah Palin was in, she was a reformer with accomplishments. Whenever Obama was in a job, he accomplished nothing. (Shut up, I said NOTHING.)

3. Incidental biographical details about Sarah Palin are part of her qualifications for being President. Obama's are just part of his "celebrity".

4. Being a governor is foreign policy experience, but being a US senator isn't.

I especially like #4 because it flies in the face of both common sense and the US Constitution.

I called these items because they are simply true by the holy authority of the GOP, and are beyond rational argument. So I won't waste any more time trying...

I am an independent and am voting for John McCain. He is running for president not Sarah Palen. Besides capilism and individual rights is what this country was founded on. NOT collectivist or alterist ideals. Barack Obama wants wealth redistrubution, socialized medicing, socialized retirement, and socialized medicine. That is socialism.

I'm sorry to tell you but Obama can't bring in socialized retirement because we already have it for about 70 years, since FDR. It's known as Social Security.

I'm also sorry to tell you that Obama can't bring in socialized medicine because we already have it since Johnson in the sixties, it's known as Medicare. Also add Bush with his drug program just a few years ago. You can also add in socialized medicine in the Veterans Administration and also in the US Congress. Check it out.
