Answered prayers, but....
by tiponeill

Focus on the Family famously called on adherents to pray for rain on Obama's acceptance speech

And Jehovah has evidently granted their prayers but as usual is displaying his famous bad aim.

Although I'd think most Republicans (particularly McCain) would call it a gift from god that Bush and Cheney have cancelled their speeches because of the storm.

No bad aim, just justice.....they were praying for their will to be done, not God's......

Why would anyone find it necessary to pray for God's will to be done? If it is God's will, isn't it pretty much going to get done anyway? Or are the people praying in hope that God has not yet determined, on this particular issue, just exactly what His will is? Or maybe they are just praying in hope that He notices that they are in agreement with Him? That is always pleasing to Him, I hear.

It is all so confusing.

Do a little study on prayer in the Bible then you might understand.
