Fun stuff.

Shut. Up.

now that's taking a miracle birth to a WHOLE 'NUTHA LEVOLE!
OK, that's weird...

After McCain's announcement I'd've given 100 to 1 odds against her not having been vetted. And thoroughly vetted at that. In the current political climate of razor-thin margins and media-fueled candidate implosion only a half-wit wouldn't exercise due-diligence in choosing a running mate.

Mind boggling if true.

And deliciously soap-opera-ey.

if you want to go the soap-opera-ey route...just add this into the equation.

Oldest son joins the army approximately eight to nine months before the birth of the baby. The firing of people who may have known the "truth"...hmmmm...someone deserves an Emmy!

Wider Implications...

If true: Liar, Poor Judgement

If not true (Water Breakgate): Dangerously Reckless, Poor Judgement

= Credibility Issue

She would know if she was being vetted, right?

They are Sooo Scared

And the GOP is sooo jazzed. Finally.

Ordinarily, I wouldn't treat Markos Papadapolous seriously, but since he seems to control the Democrat party, may as well. How desperate is this line of attack?

And the irony...

...if true:

Had she been forthcoming about her daughter's pregnancy from the beginning, the conservative "storm of recrimination" that she presumably was trying to avoid by the subterfuge would have been tiny and short-lived (because everybody is sympathetic to the parents of kids with poor judgement) and would have done nothing but make her more "real" today.

...again, if true. My credibility-meter is bouncin' all over the place today. Gotta get it into the shop.

Dueling banjos...

I think we've departed from the realm of soap-opera and are flirting with Greek tragedy.

I like it.
Whatever...

I don't like Kos but of all the articles I have read about this issue...the one I linked had the most complete coverage. Google and see.

And it all started with this, not with Kos.

Desperate, really? What does Palin pick say about McCain?

That He's a Maverick?
by Urquhart

I mean, dear Lord, what does the Biden pick say about Obama? Or the Obama pick say about the Democrats? I'd rather have Governor Palin in charge than any of the other three.

And what would Obama do if, God forbid, Biden dies?

WWOD?

Who the hell cares?

Stay focused, dear. This is not about Obama.

You still don't get it....

Facts are unimportant in politics...the secret is capturing the image of the moment..that Image is composed of all the preferences, fantasies, predilections and misinformation that is currently mixed together to make the momentary reality collage...once you have captured that nothing else matters.

Ah, But It Is
by Urquhart

For every yin there must be a yang. And any attack on Palin's experience must inevitably raise questions about Obama. Just one of the many levels on which the pick is so de-lovely.

Getting back to your original point. Sarah Palin faked a pregnancy in order to cover up for her teenage daughter? This is supposed to be a plausible story? I don't think the use of "desperate" was out of bounds in describing this attack.

Facts are Unimportant...

in politics?

Just like in your posts?

Oh, I think I got it now. Thanks.
