McCain-Palin vs Obama-Biden

By bringing up McCain's age you are opening the door for the opposition to play race cards. Both topics are protected civil rights and should be avoided. A person will die when it's his/her time -whether its due to health related issues, accidents, or Moose meat. US citizens should never be judged by race, age, gender, or religion.

This reader does not approve of Obama, his team, and the pundents playing the age card, just as he dislikes seeing the race card played - even when humor is attempted to disguise it. Obama and his team, with the help of friendly press, have now done both. If he, his campaign, and journalists the favor Obama do not stop this nonsense this voter will switch from Obama to McCain.

The President-Vice President weight should be about 80-20, respectively. Therefore, as a current Obama supporter I would also stop playing the "experience" game. This will backfire on us because the person on the top of the ticket is much more important than the "back-up"...the 80-20 rule.

This is the most interesting and exciting presidential race in history. It's like the ebb and flow of the ocean, or the beginning of the final set of a close and exciting very important tennis match. But let's keep it clean and focused and not spend any more time or money majoring in the minors.

Sorry, but the age issue is not a matter of discrimination. It's a fair consideration. Yes a person may die when it is hos/her time, but the chances of that happening tend to increase with age, no?

If Republicans are genuinely concerned about the experience of Obama being CiC, they should be VERY concerned about Palin being a heartbeat/attack from CiC, don't you think?

Boz - Obama with his lack of experience, would step right into the Pres position as an inexperienced leader from day one.

Palin - is an apx 17% chance of taking over, later in the term statistically/historically. Accordingly, she will be in a build-up situation.

This is a much different scenario - as opposed to a 100% guarentee of an inexperienced person in control of this country, in Obama's case.

This is, also, so elementary, it is ridiculous to have to mention it.
