why Palin?
by judy1

If McCain was going to pick a woman as his veep, there were plenty of other more qualified women to choose from. He could have picked Kay Bailey Hutchinson, Olympia Snow, Elizabeth Dole or even Fiorina for starters. Either of these women would have made a stronger ticket, and would have shown that he takes women seriously. Instead he picks a former beauty queen, with little experience to be his second in command. Furthemore, did anyone notice that while she was on stage addressing the crowd, he was behind her and kept leering at her butt. If you don't believe me, take a look

As a woman, I am insulted by his pick. Its not Sarah's fault, but he is most certainly using her, and I feel sorry for her, because she will have no real role in the white house, should their ticket win.

I think his choice speaks volumes about who John McCain really is. Hell, before he picked her, he'd only met with her once back in February. Apparently he chose her last Sunday, my guess in reaction to Obaman's not choosing Hillary.

I know I should be happy about this for dems, because it is the worst ticket ever for the republicans, I just think he should have given people a serious candidate.

She WILL have a real role in the WH

should McCain die, which is far from inconceivable considering his age and his health problems.

Then I would have a hard time feeling sorry for her as she, herself, chose to accept Mccain's foolish invitaton and put our entire country at risk.

How arrogant of McCain to believe he is invulnerable and can afford to choose a cute little cheerleader as his VP.

1) She is a real reformer from outside the beltway.

2) She is a woman

3) She is a union member

4) She is pro energy while a background of fighting big oil

5) She is attractive to small town America

6) Bottomline, she is real

"As a woman, I am insulted by his pick."

LOL! As if that means a damn thing! As a "woman," you are insulting Ms. Palin. If you think she's not qualified to be VP, quite frankly, you must not believe Obama is qualified to be President. Either that or you can't put one and one together and come up with two...

The reality is, we have to be prepared for two outcomes of this election. If McCain wins, this woman represents a serious threat to the security of this country.

LOL! YOU pose a serious threat to the security of this country...

she is on record as saying that:

1. she doesn't even know what the vice president does

2. she doesn't pay attention to foreign issues.

this is not someone I want as second in command. Furthermore, she is not what I consider to be a real leader. When McCain named her, most people went "who?"

Her values are not in sync with more than half this counrty

Let me get this straight. A Harvard educated lawyer and Constitutional scholar who was president of the Harvard Law Review and who went on to be a successful state legislator and US Senator isn't experienced enough to be president but a hockey mom who was mayor of podunk is? How do you spell hypocrisy?

1) She was joking and it is being taken out of context

2) I saw her last night on CNBC going into detail the importance of domestic energy which is the main geopolitical issue of the day.

Re: why Palin?

You get more executive experience in a day as governor than you do in a year as a legislator. That's a fact jack...

This is like a movie about a presidents switching places with a person on the street. Makes for a good movie but a dangerous situation. Yes it is insulting.

Great, then he could have named her energy czar. She is not qualified to be president, therefore she is not qualified to be vice president.

Frankly speaking?

I'm thinking Mac's just tired of his wife, The Cunt, she's older now and likely when she takes of the day's face plaster and he gets a good look at her he gets the heebie jeebies, so he met this governor whatshername ONCE and thought, "damn! I'd like to "drill here, drill now!" in her hairy ANWAR! YUM!"

Now, mind you, just for the record, I'm a fan of older gals, always have been since I first began to have some fun in my mid teens. It was women in their thirties and forties that gave me my "education", as it were, and Cindy looks like a hot babe to me and I'm a fan of women naturally growing gracefully older. And when Cinders'd take off her make-up, which just makes a mess anyway when having "fun", why all the better.

But, we're talking about Johnny "First wifey, see ya later, alligator!" McAdulterer.

BTW. I'm also one of those fellas that does not like the whole bald beaver look. I'm a grown man who likes his women to look like grown women, not little girls. I've no interest in little girls or the little girl look. I'll leave that to the GOPerv pedophiles.

Now, if a gal wants to clean up the kitty, trim it a tad to take away the unruliness that some possess, that's cool. But going for that little girl look is a real turn off.

Are you talking about the Democrats nominating Obama???

Spare me. See McCain's "experience" sail? He just took the wind out of it. Best of all, he did it to himself! hahahaha!
