What was she thinking?

After 4 children and after being elected Governor of the state would it not have been a reasonable decision that many women would have made to ask Todd to get the big V? The chances of a Down Syndrome baby after 40 are much higher and wasn't 4 enuf?

Hey, I expect to get all the pious responses about children being God's gift, but, how many gifts does a woman governor need when she is trying to run a state?

I think it just shows a lack of judgement, my POV!

An even bigger lack of judgment in my view was that she should have turned the job down. something along the lines of, "thanks John, but really, you could and should find someone more qualified for the post. Heck, I've only been Gov. for less than two years of a state that has less population than one of your Phoenix suburbs. Truely, I appreciate the nod but in order for our party to have a good chance against Obama, I really think you could do better. Besides, I'm really busy, what with Alaska and my kids and all, and who knows in another four tears I'll really have something to offer, besides the PTA experience, you know? Thanks anyway, but for the good of the party and the country, I must decline. And John, this isn't really about me now, is it?
