Palin-huh?
by readerbear
What is he thinking? A Barbie doll for VP? Obama has far more experience than this pick. Being a hockey mom, having a baby swing in your office and a son in Iraq doesn't make you a national leader. If, heaven forbid, McCain would be elected and be unable to serve, the USA would be in an even bigger world of hurt with Palin as our pres. I'm a middle class woman and having a woman on the ticket isn't doing it for me. Go Obama/Biden.

"Being a hockey mom, having a baby swing in your office and a son in Iraq doesn't make you a national leader."

And being literate enough to read a telepromtper makes you a national leader? Yes, I am talking about Obama.

It's clearly a ploy by McCain to woo Hillary's diehard fans away from Obama, nothing more, nothing less. Trouble is there are too many people that might fall for this without stopping to think clearly about what they're doing. Oooh, it's a Woman!! Lets vote for her no matter what!

Actually, she does have a little bit more experience than Barack Obama. Barack is not a good candidate and I would venture to say that he even hates our country and is dangerous to America. He even said recently that we should be more like the Chinese. If he is president we are in a world of hurt. He has no morals whatsoever. He's a joke. First, when he spoke of change he spoke of change but offered no blue print of how that would happen just "empty change" without explaining what he meant by change. Now, he outlined change for the American people but the changes contradict one another. By the way, recently he mentioned that he had been to 57 states in the U.S. I don't know about you but I don't want a president who talks that foolish and can't even get straight how many states there are in the U.S. On the other hand, Sarah Palin is not a perfect candidate but I think that what John McCain is wanting to do is to unify the Republican party and go back to the so-called base of Republicanism. I guess in some respects it is a gamble but overall I am pretty happy. My first choice for VP would have been Mitt Romney.

I think it's wonderful that he picked Palin. She is so conservative that she may not attract straying Hillary supporters as much as they think, and there's an excellent chance Old McCain will pop off. So this will make people think twice about voting for him in the first place. Also she has very little experience, so the republicans cant use that against Obama anymore.

Wow, either you're a piece of spyware (in which case, hi I'm shusaku (I wonder if this'll cause something funky to happen?))
or you're a true right-wing nut who still believes in the cold war.
