I came on slate expecting to hear about BHO's rousing speech last night! I was all prepared to judge BHO by the "content of his character" and list all of BHO's character defects like his 20 year relationship with racist preacher Jerimiah Wright or his 13+ year relationship with terrorist William Ayers and of course The sweetheart deals OHB gave to slumlord Rezko in the form of legislation which allowed to make millions providing substandard public housing (not to mention the deal Rezko gave BHO on his house).

BHO's Character flaws are far worse than McCain's which only seems to have the Keating 5 on its list.

McCain has been around 35 years longer than BHO and has only 1 flaw to his lifetime record. BHO has a rather remarkable record of character flaws and associations with people of questionable background.

Then check out what other POWs have to say about his time in camp. He's got character flaws no one's even touched.

I know all about McCain's time at the Hanoi Hilton it was one of the things we studied at USAF survival school. They used him as an example of what every long term prisoner goes thru in such a place.

By all official accounts McCain was XO at the Hilton and in no way disgraced himself or his country.

McCain's leadership of the US personnel held at the Hanoi Hilton is used as an example of how to lead POW's in both USAF and USN survival schools.

We were taught that every man has limits to physiccal punishment and beatings and that in all probability any of us found in a POW situation would be tortured and forced to provide information to your captors. US personnel are required to hold out for as long as humanly possible and all indications show McCain did so.
