I don't get their argument; they say that Israel has to be protected because that's where the 2nd edition of JC will be born, presumably Jewish, after all, that's what the first one was born as!!!!

I've actually had people tell me that they would be lifted out of their cars while driving or I might see little piles of clothes left on a sidewalk where someone was "raptured". It just all depended on when God decided to lift them to heaven. ..............................­..............................­..............................­... The images of all of that breaks me out in a chuckle whenever I think of it. Of course different people have different beliefs about how it will all happen. That's understandable because they have different preachers describing it to them. ..............................­..............................­..............................­.... I really try never to belittle a person's belief but I really have a hard time keeping a straight face when it comes to the rapture thing. How smug these folks are to believe that they personally will be one of the 144,000 chosen out of the billions of people on earth. Unfortunately I will be doomed to stay here with most of the rest of you when "it" happens.

I worked with one of those who believed in the 144,000 - - poor guy committed suicide. Guess he wanted to get there first?

You are woefully ignorant of biblical teaching. No surprise, though, I would expect anyone who believes in eagle feathers and medicine bags to understand scripture.

The 144,000 are indeed Jews from the 12 tribes but the Rapture involves all believers. If you have access to a bible, know someone who has one, or live near a library where you could check one out, read Thessalonians.

closed each session with a reading and a prayer,then started wanting me to watch Rev Hagee...and The "Left Behind" movies...then we started praying for George W. Bush who God had sent us to bring about the "end Of Times" and sadly he only had a little over 2 years left to get it done (at that time)...very nice Lady,but I told her it was too much...I'd had enough.

Told her even if "The End of Times" was coming....I couldn't see the reason to rush it.
