McCain, Yet Again, Demonstrates His...
by MiamiOracle

"respect" for women. As my wife put it, "So he's trying to throw a bone to us broads? If anything will move Hillary's most fervent supporters into Obama's camp, it's Sarah Palin's selection."

Actually, I think it was the beehive hair do she showed up in today that swayed John and the party faithful. It typifies the '50s Republicans are still living in.

Don't we all throw a "bone" to the Broads?

I think your wife nailed it, MiamiO. Nothing against Palin, but the choice does seem cynical at first.

Yea like only thing as cynical would be a black man with no experience to run as President. You wouldn't think that would ya Mo?

Well with five kids, Sarah should have plenty of experience changing diapers, a skill I'm sure McCain will appreciate.

And by the way, why is that I have a strong suspicion that you'd find any black man nominated for the presidency to be "cynical"?

You can blame Georgie-Porgie for that, you know. In eight short years he's managed to achieve what civil rights activitist have been successful in in accomplishing for years: Dispelling the myth of white male supremacy.

Obama's Political Career Ends On November 5th

as he will lose so bad he'll never recover.

Back to a Chicago community agitator where he belongs.

Paul-Z Pal-Z, upon reviewing your recent body of "work", I can only conclude that you've become a an ardent, dues paying member of the Theatre of the Absurd.

Beginning with your post of some 10 days ago when you rated The Incompetent Incumbent, and presumably the dwarfs that make up his administration, you've gone off the edge.

What more characterizes Georgie-Porgie's tenure than broad comedy (anytime he opens his mouth), horrific and tragic images (Iraq, Katrina, the economy) and a cyclical plot (stay the course)?

And now you move to McSame, a character caught in a hopeless situation, more cyclical plots and meaningless actions most notably, today's announcement?

Why is it that no one can tell me why McCain deserves anyone's vote other than to speak in some abstract manner about his "experience" (and whiteness) ? If that's the overriding criteria, let's cancel the election and anoint Robert Byrd as our president.

As the late Mayor Richard J. Daley (may He rest in peace and His memory be eternal and may God Bless the Cook County Regular Democratic Organization, Amen) was wont to say, "What are his (McCain's) programs? What are his(McCain's) plans? What trees has he (McCain) planted? What alleys has he (McCain) lit?

So enlighten me about the value of his 26 years of keeping a Senate chair warm and his plans, his programs, and, metaphorically, the trees he'll planted and the alleys he'll light?
