A little tit-for-tat given Grandpa's decision to step on the Dem convention coverage this morning with his VP choice leak/announcement.

True, Grandpa did a huge favor for the Dems by picking neophyte Sarah Palin, but a little payback is still in order---the Dems must scheme as to how to step on the Pug convention media message.

Gotta crawl into the gutter with these Pugs sometimes, eh?

Let's let the GOP convention highlights speak for themselves. With such high voltage speakers like President Bush, Dick Cheney, Joltn' Joe Lieberman, and any other GOP lackey you'd care to name, they'll be begging us to shift the media's attention away from their convention.

We cannot sell the GOP short---the one thing they know how to do is mislead people. Recall prior conventions where they trot out people like Ahnold and Rudy G to mislead Americans into thinking the GOP is moderate.

The GOP will have a message---undoutedly false, as always---and it would not hurt to step on it.
