There is no doubt that those who were unfamiliar with Obama's stances and capability got to know him much better. All the stances he laid out are readily available on his website as well as on analyst breakdowns of both candidates stances.

That was perfect and for everyone looking at what has happened in the last eight years he made the case.

while his people in Chicago live in rat infested slums, kids go to bed hungry, King Hussein under his spectacular coums and concert lights performed for the Hopeheads:

How many school lunches would Husseins concert tonight paid for?

So sorry. If Obama is elected you may actually get a good medical plan to cover that.
And not just the stances.

He brought up judgement and temperarment as well:

And just as we keepour promise to the next generation here at home, so must we keep America's promise abroad. If John McCain wants to have a debate about who has the temperament, and judgment, to serve as the next commander in chief, that's a debate I'm ready to have.

God you are an ass! How many lunches could the obscenely wealthy "beer heir" and her sponging hubby buy with a few of their millions.

it was a superb speech...

from his delivery, i'm almost starting to thing that the relative 'milquetoastness' of earlier dem speakers was by design. as if obama decided that he wanted to do the heavy lifting of really taking it to mccain and repubs himself...

just a great job...

I believe, Mary, whole heartedly this man will do us proud as President of the United States of America.

He will work hard to bring back the respect the world once had for us that Dubya, Cheney, their administration and the republican party has run through the muck and mire.

I cannot wait to see him take the oath of office. I cann't wait to see this intelligent, classy, cosmopolitan, heartfelt man in action as POTUS and world class leader of the world's beacon of freedom, America.

I am beginning, for the first time in eight years, to feel that pride again in our nation. I want to be proud again of our government and have confidence that We, The People are not at the bottom of the list and the welathy and corporations at the top.

I am excited for the end of the old, tired, wheezing, corrupt, crass, dangerous corporate fascist policies of the neo-con New World Order wealthy elite.

Agreed. A great speech.

Absolutely. McCain has his work cut out for him. That was exceptional.

He had to tie in the last eight years, there is no way make the case for change without it, and he did it superbly. That is one of his strengths, the ability view the big picture and describe the details.

Another home run derby night.
