It would seem to be meaningless as polls go unless you knew how McCain had a clear lead in both of these states a short time ago. Florida and Nevada are now in the running no matter if these figures go up or down slightly:

and the ongoing problems with the state GOP delegates in Nevada,like I have,you'd have already known that Nevada is ripe. It doesn't mean Nevada is a lock for Obama but conditions are more favorable for him there than they were for Kerry in '04.

Yep and he was down -7 in Nevada just a few days ago and now he is up +5 (12 points) making it even more shocking. I think it will slip soon but Obama is absolutely in the running in those states if it simply fluctuates at this point. We'll see.

Looks pretty good and nice to know Obama is in it there. That was one heck of a jump though the numbers are impacted by the DNC convention. We'll see where it stands after the republican convention.

btw: I looked for you last night as I wanted to slip a personal note to you that you were 100% correct on the Clinton's. They really came through. Both of them. Good call BD. I was way off base in my concern.

I missed Bill's speech but caught snippets of it later. I saw Joe Biden's speech though. It was good.

Good sign that you are still mentally balanced. Had you missed your brother's birthday for the convention you would have officially gone over the edge. lol

Happy birthday to him! You could really see how Biden is a huge asset for Obama couldn't you. Clinton was awesome. He kept it on point and did NOT go into the egocentric speech the talking heads hinted at up until yesterday. If you can catch the full speech on Utube it is worth watching.
