Democratic Convention is Flawless.
by mark14

I've been enjoying the parade of superb speakers and the unity displayed is powerful. One might not know it from the main stream media who are happy to take their talking points from Karl Rove again. What are they drunk on? Or what are they addicted to because sober people learn from prior fiascos but this is the same repetitive insanity of "balanced reporting" suggesting Americans should believe McCain operatives spin instead of their "own lying eyes and ears". It almost feels liket he run up to the Iraq war again. August is almost over and the new Republican product is being rolled out.

Here is an example from an AP report on the "Republican War Room" <link>

"As they watched former Virginia Gov. Mark Warner give the keynote address, the GOP team was pleased to see that it was Giuliani's interview with Sean Hannity, not Warner's speech, featured on Fox News Channel."

Isn't it amazing that AP reports "the GOP team was please to see" as if their "story" had been carried due to merit instead of being part of a pre-conceived propaganda effort?

Warner was actually axed as the keynote speaker. His talk was moved to a less prominent posiotion as he was not considered worthy. Warner was actually bipartisan and as you well know, we can't have that in the liberal progressive movement.
"Warner was actually bipartisan" Ranger is stoned again?

If Warner was "bipartisan" I sure didn't hear it in his speech.

He kicked George W. Bush around like a ratty old punctured soccer ball.

Perhaps FAUX Noise just didn't interpret it that way, so Ranger doesn't know the truth.

When did Warner give his speech? Was it in fact in the keynote time slot? Why not? At least be honest if you can't be smart.

Don't overlook the fact that it is, after all, the Democrat convention. Of course the speakers are going to trash the opposition and talk about great their party is. As for the overwhelming reception, it's Democrats pontificating to Democrats, of course the speeches will get a rousing round of applause. Most of the people I have spoken to, here in The People's Republic of Massachusetts, would have preferred to have a Hillary / Obama ticket and are really not happy with what they got.
What's not bipartisan about kicking bush?

If you read the stats, the only people still in little george's corner are in the bunker with him.

Mark - I would like to know what hole your head has been in. There has been nothing but glowing adoring reports from the main stream media. Every night has been a "home run hit". The report you link to is ABOUT the GOP in Denver. Naturally this will have as much negative spin in it as possible. Strangely, that will be the ONLY negative piece you'll be able to find, I bet.
