Hillary Supporters - She brought this on
by mk3872

This is EXACTLY what everyone feared when she was being asked to back off, stop going negative and face the fact that she would be unable to overtake Obama in the primary.

But instead she started this us agains them and mysgony of the media. She used the Rove handbook and has now successfully rallied a base not for Dems or to defeat the GOP. But instead single issue mindless herds that are only intrested in Hillary for pres and will stop at nothing.

She has created this mess and the entire Clinton legacy has just been completed flushed through the sewer. I suppose this is, in the end, justice for the philandering of Bill and the heavy-handed nature of the Clintons in the nineties.

You aren't particularly intelligent,
by Demcon

are you.? Pssst . . . Hillary LOST and cannot now win. Got that? Goooooood!

At this point the issue is no longer Hillary for the PUMAs. It is all about a stolen nomination process and the determination that Obama will not be rewarded for his and the corrupt DNC's successful joint efforts to fiddle the nomination process behind the scenes -- with the aide of the 'in the bag for Obama' national press.

PUMAs have had enough and Obama and his supporters and the DNC and the national press corps can collectively piss off. That's what it's all about at this point. Enjoy.

and face the fact that she would be unable to overtake Obama in the primary.

Except that she did beat him in the popular vote. Why the hell would she betray those who voted for her (and who outnumbered Obama's people) by dropping out of the race and rewarding Obama the Empty Suit? Obama's not owed the candidacy, affirmative action aside.

Well said, TheRaven.

TheRaven:

Except that she did beat him in the popular vote.

Why did this become the conventional wisdom? Clinton didn't win the popular vote by any reasonable metric. Saying she won the popular vote requires jumping through a few somewhat tortured logical hoops. And, in any case, the popular vote doesn't really matter much anyway - look at pledged delegates. Even if you remove some of the more contentious ones (Texas caucuses, switch Nevada's count, etc) then Obama still wins handily.

TheRaven:

Obama's not owed the candidacy, affirmative action aside.

Ha! I get it. Obama is black. Well played!

People are getting very tired
by Demcon

of Obamacrats always playing the race card. It's going to come back to haunt them on election day. You don't win over potential voters by calling them racists. It's particularly pernicious when it becomes obvious that you PLAY the race card at every possible opportunity rather than engage your brain.

Still, I'm certain that Obama approves of you calling all his opponents racists.

Oh, please.

I'm not the one that said attributed his win to "affirmative action," nor did I call anyone a racist explicitly or otherwise. I was calling TheRaven out on a stupid statement.

And I'm sure that anyone that doesn't agree with you is braindead, so I apologize in advance for that.

The question is... will the democratic females really be dumb enough to fall for this karl rove ploy? Can the republicans actually successfully goad hillary supporters to voting against themselves?
The burning question is, "Will
by Demcon
Obama and his Obamacrats be successful enough in their endless playing of the race card to the extent that it places Obama in the White House?"
Talking of playing cards

Seems to me that McCain counters the race card with the POW card. Can't remember how many houses you have? I was a POW. That has become the standard defense to any criticism of McCain.

Obama won the primary race by the rules that were agreed to before the race began by him, Clinton, and all other candidates. In fact at least two senior members of Clintons campaign team were on the Committee that wrote these rules. The rules were acceptable to them when they had all confidence they were going to win. Only after Clinton was behind in the delegate count did the complaigning begin of the corrupt process.

Which will bring us to the discussion that the super delegates gave Obama the primaries. Well this is there job. Since the super delegate system was initiated they have made early decisions. In fact Clinton was actively campaigning for the super delegates to choose her before the voting began. She did not renounce the large percentage of super delegates who did just that. Again their was only a complaint of the actions of the super delegates after Clinton was behind in the count.

In fact it was raven in his/her arguments against Obama that played the race card in this discussion.

And shall we mention the POW card.
