The Great Confusion (or is it Confession)

When someone says that "Obama may lose because some white folks will simply not vote for a black President"

Some people hear, "Anyone who doesn't vote for Obama is a racist". They get pissed... and understandly have every right to be.

The problem is that each side is speaking a different language.

Let me put it this way. If you are a republican or republican leaning or even independant and can't stand the thought of certain Democrat ideas or programs...then voting against Obama is absolutely legitimate and no one should evern try to shame you about your vote.

However, if you've been democrat their entire life...supported Hillary or Edwards because they care about the "working man/woman"...carried water for Carter, Mondale, Gore and Kerry...plan to vote democrat in your local congressional and senate races, and can't seem to pull the lever for Obama....then...

Here's a clue. Obama's background is more "working class" than Hillary and, Obama has more experience that Edwards and about the same as Hillary.

Ok here's another clue...Obama want's to provide greater tax breaks to middle class americans and is committed addressing health care.

Ok here's another one...Obama feels that the financial and emotional burden with multiple postings in Iraq are straining families. He want to put the Iraq gov't on notice that they have 16months to get their act together.

Here's another one. If someone spread lies about you saying, you had a sever drinking and anger problem do you think its fair for other people to just assume that's true or would you want them to confirm. There are rumors that Obama is a radical muslim, and hates America.

Now if you haven't figured it out yet...you're clueless.

It's the clueless that gave the good ole USA 8 years of Bushie and I shudder to think if enough people stay "clueless" and help elect John McCain. I truly believe everyone should be compelled to read "What's the Matter with Kansas." This book explains how the Repubs/conservatives have spent the last 20-30 years convincing the "clueless" to vote Repub which is against their best interest. And let me assure you the Repubs do not have the best interests of the middle class in mind--not for one minute.

Unintelligible first:

??? How is this even tangentially related to the first post (which was good, by the way)?
