Dear Sir
by Mark_RSM

Dear Sir,

Wow, that is a complete political wash job. John McCain is not going to use this issue to determine who should be on the Supreme Court.

The issue is does the Constitution of the United States provide the right to an abortion to anybody, and the answer is no it does not. If you want it to follow the process, change the constitution, there is a process for it.

The real issue should be up to the states to determine, not the federal government.

Does anybody know how the court gave itself this great power, it was all a big mistake. The court does not have the power to force laws to be made or repeal laws, never did and never will.

Friends you want to be scared look at the Dred Scott ruling, that was the first time the court really made a ruling on making laws. Wow, that worked well, hmm, and it required a war to fix it.

<link>

Marbury v. Madison is a huge mistake, and was only done due to Jefferson saying they can make any rule they want find somebody to enforce it.

<link>

All the liberals love Jefferson, well guess what, he did not believe in a court with no checks on power.

Jefferson was a great man, same as was Adams, and they were able to be friends even if they did not agree, maybe Americans need to remember this.

Next thing the court is going to rule the Constitution being un-constitutional, and use some stupid newspaper article like the federalist papers to prove it, or maybe we could use Fray to base our laws on.

Friends our only protection on liberty is the people of this great nation, and the will to allow us to all live in peace, and when somebody tries to enforce their will on us, we rise up and remove them from power.

Friends the parties do not care about you, they want to control you and they are controlled by the people with money.

So do not vote for a party, vote for a person, and vote for somebody that has no reason to screw American, Reagan was that man, and so is John McCain.

John McCain is he own man, he has not been bought, and nobody controls him, while sometimes that does worry me, it does not worry any where as much as Nancy and Barak running our country.

God Bless You

Uhmmm, No. John McCain is an unstable old man who thinks the answer to every problem is to start a war and that because he was a POW it excuses his bad behavior. Keating 5, cheating on his first wife. He says he knows how to win a war. What experience does he have to do that?

Why does he care about the average American person he has no experience with them. He got his place in Annapolis because of his father and grandfather, after he came home he got jobs he was not qualified for because of them. He then marries a wealthy women and moves to Arizona and her family pays his way into politics.

Look at his voting record on military and vetrans issues, you would think he would do everything he can to support them.

Dear Sir,

I would think anybody that has been in a war knows how bad one is, and is the best person to lead us during one.

Senior Bush knew what Junior Bush did not, you do not win anything in a war, you can just lose less.

Everybody in politics is bought and paid for, but an older person has a lot less reasons to do what his pay masters require than a younger person.

John McCain is not the person I want as president, I am not sure I want any of the people the parties had run, but based on the choices, I would say he is the man.

Does anybody truely want Nancy and Barak to run this country for the next 2 year, and trust it is only a question of how much pain we can take for 2 years before the democrats are thrown out of the house.

If I was a democrat in the house or one up for re-election in 2010 in the senate, I would be voting for McCain, cause one thing is certain, come 2010 you are looking for a new job.

God Bless You

So It would be fair to assume you are in favor of states legalizing medical marijuana?

Re: Dear Sir

Dear Sir,

I am not in favor of it at all, but if a State want to make something legal and the peole are okay with it, then the Federal government should stay out.

We should follow our Constitution or change it thru the process.

God Bless You

Thank you for responding. Last year California's medical marijuana act was ruled against by the Supreme court citing their authority to do so under Article 1, Section 8 of the Constitution (the interstate commerce clause, ironically!)

Dear Sir,

They should have been able to stop the importation of this only, from other states.

But once again our great Supreme Court can do what every they want to when every they fell like it.

Want to be scared read about Dred Scott, that should send a chill up your spin.

God Bless You
