The Completely Accurate "Passed Over" Ad

My, my the women of XX truly hate other women. I thought this stuff ended in junior high. I feel like this is all an endless re-run of Clueless, right down to the reference that the McCain campaign chose pictures of Hillary on the campaign trail which made her look "attractive" (read: must be air brushed). Don't worry, now that the harridan is out of the way all the cool girls can go back to sucking on the forbidden fruit of Precious. The ad is completely accurate. HRC was not only passed over, she wasn't even vetted. And the ad doesn't say that McCain agrees politically with her; it says that HRC truthfully said such things as there were open issues on Rezko (very few, it was pretty much a naked bribe, so HRC was actually quite restrained). A McCain/Clinton ticket you ask? Now that would bring the country together. Unfortunately, only in our dreams. Go PUMA. Go Harridans. Give it up for the smart chick with the glasses. HRC 2012!

Would Hillary have "vetted" Obama?

Bill has said that he would not turn over the records of the donors to his library. This would have been a problem.

The only thing Obama did wrong in Hillary's eyes is to beat her. She NEVER had the support of 100% of Democrats and anyone under 40 had no idea who the Clintons were and she did not represent their issues...

My son is 32 and is a Paul supporter...go figure.

My daughter is 30 and her issues are the economy, the war and she is an Obama supporter.

My sisters and I are all over 60 and know all about gender discrimination in the workplace and we are all Obama supporters. We have seen competent women passed over for promotion but we have also seen incompetent ones get promotions because of connections and the ability to do some of the most dishonest and back-stabbing things to get to the top.

That ad only proves that this whole PUMA, party disunity meme has been a Rovian propaganda campaign from the get-go.

I wish that John McCain would put Hillary on his ticket. He might as well -- he's going to lose anyway.

The Obama Campaign has figured that one out from the get go. That is why they felt comfortable sticking it to Hillary with the 3AM Text Message DNA Facial. I nice, not so subtle message that she is on the outside, looking in. For the next eight years she is going to pay for all her crap.

As a feminist, I resent being told that I hate other women just because I do not support Hillary Clinton. YOU are the one who hates other women, who has to bash any woman who does not agree with you or with Hillary's campaign. So does that mean that 90% of black women hate women because they voted for Obama. I am a black woman a feminist, and an Obama supporter, and your pettiness and racism are disgusting.

Supporting a candidate of either gender who will support the reproductive rights of ALL women is more important than supporting the ambitions of just one. Hillary Clinton ran a racist campaign, she built her career on her husbands accomplishments and reputation, she fed into stereotypes in her quest for power and did not think about the consequences for other women. I respect Hillary Clinton's personal accomplishments, I was moved by her words about millions of cracks in the glass ceiling (although I doubt she wrote them herself), but I do not have to support her candidacy. I respect your opinion. Now stop being such a misogynist and respect mine.

PhDiva, all I can say is "Right on." 100% agreement from me.

Also, it had honestly never occurred to me that HRC could conceivably run as McCain's running mate until I read this column, and the very idea sent chills up my spine. Certainly not because she's a woman, but because of all the reasons you listed above. And what was doubly chilling was the idea that she's ambitious enough to make like Lieberman and do it, without even holding her nose.

And I fear that that might succeed in getting McCain elected.

Thank god that you deranged lunatics number in the "hundreds". But if you want McCain, vote for the whore/war mongering senile relic and explain it to your Grand Daughters.

Wishful thinking much? Obama needs a miracle to keep his poll ratings from plummeting. We're all going to have Bush 3 to deal with until 2012 if the country survives it.

I hope I'm wrong, but it looks worse every day and we haven't hit the October surprise skeleton in the closet that Hillary warned us about.

Oh and just for clarification, I'm voting Obama, but I am VERY nervous right now.

While I certaintly agree that voting either candidate with the platform you want is a good plan you must be kidding if you think Hillary would help McCain get elected.

If I were Hillary and he offered it to me I'd take it just to watch Rush's head explode and the mass coup from the Republicans. He'd erradicate his base...

I am so tired of old white guys like lawpol posting and telling women how angry they are supposed to be. It's tired and it simply isn't true. Oh, and your Rezko comment factually innacurate. Obama has not been accused of any wrongdoing whatsoever.
