Apple-speak
by truthbomb

"McCain represents a Cold War style of nationalism that doesn't get the shift from geopolitics to geoeconomics, the centrality of soft power in a multipolar world, or the transformative nature of digital technology."

Huh? Is this an ad for Apple? A lot of hipster posturing that the world is drastically changing because people can text message each other? I know this sort of logic suits people like Steve Jobs who use it to exploit earnest nerds in Silicon Valley, but you expect us to buy into it to? The reality is that the world and human nature haven't changed, we just got some new tools in addition to our sticks and arrowheads.

How come racisim, according to you, is alive and well if we are in such an era of "transformation". Boo Hoo, so racisim is alive and well and Obama loses - then I guess this was one more political reality he could not handle.

And your smarmy attempt, as well as the hypocritical attempts of all the leftist Dems, to use the ageism card against McCain by suggesting he is "old" (cold war
) school is going to bite all of you socialists in the arse.

absolutely ! good points.i'm so sick of smarmy journalists who deride people who don't care about the latest technology . they think that life revolves around their iphone.in the meantime real threats like putin and russia ,basically , get ignored.
