Your cadidate lost...boo frickin hoo

What a bunch of complainers -- there are always candidates who lose -- was HRC so special? Oh, she was a woman. Maybe I'm more enlightened -- who cares? All this special credit for riding on her husband's coat tails. This much loyalty is disturbing.

er, isn't there anything or one YOU are loyal to? Just wondering. if nothing or no one, maybe you should try it.

Loyalty to politicians clouds rationality as it has in your case.

Here's the thing, many of s have seen a few elections come and go and we've learned that the sky often does not fall in if the wrong team gets elected. Theres always next year. But if your team has taken you for granted and indulged in a little patronizing sidelining, well that doesn't get better on its own. Somehow the message has to get through.

She didn't ride her husband's coat tails at the Rose Law Firm. She wasn't riding his coat tails when she sponsored and initiated legislation as a Senator. If you took out everything tied to Bill, she'd still have twice the experience Obama has. And, alot of her experience is the wisdom gained from pain and hard work and y ears of compromising to gain a 'doable' consensus. And, you sure are knocking all the experience she had as the First Lady. Remember, when we elected Bill and were sooo happy with him, it was because we were getting 'two for one'. What do you think she was doing for 8 those years? baking cookies? And, before that, she was the First Lady of Arkansa for 8 years. What has Obama done to compare experience wise? All the supporters of Obama ever say is..."He says he's going to...." You're just projecting. And, if he's the miracle man, put him in charge of Bear Stearn and see if he can recoup that 40 billion....THEN, we'll see if he's had enough experience to run for president...haha No one, no one would put him in charge of a major corporation, so why would he be ready for president? He just needs more time to grow as a senator, and acutally do somethig besides write books about himself. Then, we'll see. I always thought he should have been Hillary's VP, and then it would have been a landslide....It still could be, if he chooses her as VP. If not, oh well, ...I'll become independant, and write her name in on election day. No one said the Biden was inexperienced when he was running. No one said Wes Clark didn't have the mettle to be President. No one said New Mexico GOVERNOR Bill Richards was inexperienced, even Dennis Kuchinich was the executive mayor of a (sort of) major city. Only Obama has the least experience of any of the candidates. How he made it this far is more a phenomenon of 'love' than anything else, that, and Dem. Party Leadership and a smitten MSM. Sytle over substance. But, there you go.

The ability to communicate policies to the American people and to choose excellent advisers and cabinet positions are very important qualities in a President. Bill Clinton did those things well. He was an unknown governor of a small southern state but he had style and an uncanny way to make voters feel good about their country. Reagan had it too even though his policies were not good for the country.

Obama may not have been the governor of Dogpatch but he has brains, judgement and a temperment that suits the office.

McCain has none of these qualities....

Hmmm, the whole "clinging to guns and religion" thing hardly makes one rejoice in being an American. Oh yeah, and what about that "never been proud of this country" remark by Michelle Obama. What exactly is it that the Obama's like about this country, other than the fact that we might elect them to the highest office?

Wow, you are good at parroting the Republican talking points.

No , you're not more enlightened .
Just because the so called delegates refused to vote the way their voters wished (which happens to be their JOB ), does Not make Obama a winner .

Boo Fricken Hoo when your boy can't win .Tough on all of us .

Funny, it isn't just me either. Why is it that when our candidates have a weakness, we always blame the other guy for pointing it out? Thats politics. Thats what everyone knew the republicans were going to do. I never ever doubted Hillary Clintons love for this country and her attack dog defense of it if the need ever would arise. Obama has yet to convince me and his trip to Europe as the self annointed representative of this nation did nothing to improve my opinion.

you'd have a point . . . if any of those comments were "weakness." They were just smears.

It's sad that people who complain about "unfair treatment" of Clinton are so quick to do the same to Obama. Or Obama's wife, for that matter.

If you're not a troll, you're a darned good imitation of one.

A troll I suppose is a Repblican plant? No, that is not where I am coming from.. . I am actually very frustrated by the current state of affairs. Dahlia Lithwick's incendiary piece brought me to this blog.

The Obama hatred and general bitterness you express seems way out of proportion to me, and your expressed intention to write in Hillary appears more based on those feelings than on a consideration of the effect on the outcome of the election and who might become president. But it's your vote, so do as you want.

Personally, I like Hillary Clinton. I think she's incredibly smart and hardworking and tough as nails and think she would have made (and may yet make) a really good president. Still, the "coattails" crack is truth-based. It's undeniable she could not be where she is without Bill having been president.

Meanwhile, Obama, if he wins (inshallah), will also be fine. Obama certainly is/was a media darling, but so what? To me the operative question at this point (except for those who are part of the rearguard movement to stage a coup at the convention) is, between McCain and Obama, who do you want to be president?
