When the primaries began, and McCain won, I felt like everything was okay, even if my candidate (Obama) didn't win we would still have a progressive in the White House. Was I ever wrong, McCain has changed in eight years! The last time around it was clear he would not stack the bench with conservatives, now he has made it clear he will. His lobby ties haven't helped either. Honestly, I think the old McCain wouldn't recognize the new McCain if he met him on the street. Sadly, I think he is an old man being led around by a ring in his nose.
