Remember the 'Cuban Missile Crisis'? Countries that are threatened by a militarily aggressive regime have every right to defend themselves. Anybody who disagrees should shut the hell up about Krushchev sticking nukes in Cuba, after all, it's exactly the same thing as the USA sticking missiles in Poland. Here's the kicker: American missiles in Poland are akin to American torture chambers, 'rendition', the Iraqi genocide, etc, etc - It's all okay now because Americans are the ones doing it - for peace of course.
