McCain's Character Towers Above Obama's Blackness

Lets face it. McCain has character and tons of it. While Barrack Hussein has, uh, er... a funny name and allegedly looks different.

McCain's character is now getting under the skin of the man who has none.

Obama tells McCain to lay off character

updated 1 hour, 2 minutes ago

ORLANDO - Democrat Barack Obama challenged his Republican opponent John McCain on Tuesday to stop questioning his "character and patriotism."

Addressing the Veterans of Foreign Wars convention, Obama reaffirmed his early opposition to the U.S. invasion of Iraq and said the so-called "surge" strategy of sending 30,000 additional troops to Iraq last year had not produced the political reconciliation necessary to achieve lasting peace in the country. McCain supported the Iraq invasion and was an early champion of the surge.

"These are the judgments I've made and the policies that we have to debate, because we do have differences in this election," Obama said. "One of the things that we have to change in this country is the idea that people can't disagree without challenging each other's character and patriotism. I have never suggested that Sen. McCain picks his positions on national security based on politics or personal ambition. I have not suggested it because I believe that he genuinely wants to serve America's national interest. Now, it's time for him to acknowledge that I want to do the same.

McCain would rather win the Presidency then exhibit any character or honesty.

Not true.

Obama said this, said he believes this, fine. What if McCain does not believe that way?

What if McCain truely believes obama DOES pick his positions on national security based on politics or personal ambition and NOT because he genuinely wants to serve America's national interest?

If that is the case, asking him to acknowledge that he and obama want to do the same would be asking him to say something untrue. In which case, not saying that IS McCain exhibiting his character and honesty, is it not?

Of course, if you are of the opinion that everyone, including him, should accept whatever YOU believe to be "THE truth", well then, yeah, you may have an arguement I suppose......

Mr. B's right. Obama needs to flip flop on his postitions more often. He should also campaign harder on behalf of some lobbyists and refer to his wife as a 'cunt'.

That oughta cut into McCain's 'character' votes.

John "keating five" McCain has no reason to castigate anyone else over character
