Georgia may be more exotic, nicer, and have better food than Russia, but it was practicing ethnic cleansing in South Ossetia before the Russians invaded. Google “ethnic cleansing” and Georgia and read it for yourself. Of course, you’ll have to look back a month or more because most of the more recent hits will be Georgia’s accusation of Russia’s ethnic cleansing.

Also, Abkhazia, a region within Georgia, has been ethnic cleansing Georgian as it desires independence like Ajara, an autonomous region within Georgia. People who live in that area may be nicer than most but it sounds like they are bit more fanatical too.

This is not a good guy verses bad guys that extremist on the Republican right always want to boil down everything down to. There’s enough bad to go around on both sides. Stalin was Georgian.
