Good news for Obama
by progressivebulldog
If Obama got all of the safe democratic votes and just half of the "leaners" he'd have enough electoral votes to win. What's most surprising is that both Texas and McCain's own state of Arizona are only "leaning" Republican.

Or another way to put that:

From this count, if John McCain got all of the safe GOP, leaning GOP, and even all of the undecideds-- he still wouldn't have enough.

Funny how now one is talking about this coming electoral landslide but just wringing hands about how "OMG they're tied!" based on meaningless popular vote polls. That actually show Obama always ahead, just not as dramatically.

This is the one that matters.

Yup, it's ridiculous that the map of the US is marked purple ("toss up") when by this poll's own standards, McCain would lose even if he won all the toss-ups, lean Rep, and strong Rep states.

What the heck does "stumble on the saddle" mean? And I had no idea Atkins was such a right-wing thing. I just thought it meant no fries with that steak.

Thanks for reminding us all that "Obama" rhymes with "Osama". Oh I get it, I see what you did there. Smart!

All snark aside, the jackassery among the McCain camp here on the Fray boards is making me feel better and better about Obama's prospects. Keep it up, jack.

Your just one of those fear mongering righties.Call it for what it is and the Republicans have always done this historically and thats play fear and race mongering to scare people who only beleive what is put in front of them without researching for themselves.Fortunalty for Mccain the Saddleback forum was a setup. In Orange county which historically votes Repubican, the forum was setup specifically for John Mccain.,so all this crap from Candi Crowley about how the audience "seemed" to be Pro Obama, it was a lie and even she knew that. Im also interested in how the crowd really felt about John Mccains Pro Life stance giving the topic was faith and values. So how Mccain is percieved to come out a winner is beyond my imagination.

"What a bunch of idiots!!!"

People who don't agree = idiots.

"Good news for obama [some gibberish that linguistic scholars would have trouble parsing through]"

Babelfish choked on this one, however, still haven't figured out that lose and loose are not the same word.

"You stumble on the saddle tonight!! You socialist carb!!!"

Just too drunk to post. That's my guess.
