Easiest Election Ever
by The Real RML
If you believe George W Bush's leadership was what this country should continue with then hire the man who supported him more than 90% of the time-John McCain. If you have benefitted from the energy crisis, the housing crisis, the high gas prices, the weak US dollar, the rising unemployment rate, terrorism, or the unstable international climate, then again McCain is your man. If you want to overturn Roe V Wade and force women to have unwanted babies, McCain is your man. He claims to be pro choice, but his quality time with the extremists of the religious right and the money they are throwing his way suggests a deal was made. McCain will most likely be finishing the Bush project of stacking the Supreme Court with pro life extremists who will be happy to return us to the dark ages in the name of religion. Obama represents change while McCain represents "stay the course" or even go backwards. The choice is yours-but it shouldnt be hard.

Quite a lengthy list of what McCain will or will not do. But zero on what BO will do, except the tired, I ran for high school president on this slogan, "Change you can believe in". Let's try "Vote for me to be free", just words, just speeches, just the same old political BS.

Nader '08

Sheehan '08

Oprah '08

Fat Bastard '08

Flav-o-Flav '08

Allan Dick '08

I'm sure they'd bring "change" too.

Just because McCain would double the national debt once again (as W did) and keep troops in Iraq, even though the president of Iraq has asked for a timeline for withdrawl. In spite of the fact that McCain said that there is nothing wrong with the economy and his chief economic expert (Phil Gramm) said that there really isn't a problem (it is all in our heads)....McCain will make things better. And even though T.Boone Pickens says we can't drill our way out of the energy crisis...McCain wants to drill our way out of the energy crisis (with trivial help from 45 new nuclear plants that nobody wants to build and a $300 million bonus for anyone who invents a new electric battery with no requirement that they ever bring it to production)....you think that McCain's negatives aren't enough?

Shit, son. Anything would be better than more of the same.

Morbius, I'd vote for anyone on your list before John "The Iraq War was a great idea" McCain. Easiest election ever indeed.
Re: Easiest Election Ever

The BO list is still empty
Re: Easiest Election Ever

Sad, but true.

The list is extensive and is on his website.

Thanks for the kool-aid.
Re: Easiest Election Ever

Kool Aid? McCains web site is just as "informative".

What I think you need to understand here is that McCain is NOT offerring any new ideas and that Obama may not have all the answers but is promising to move in new directions.

No one will be voting for McCain for his leadership. All of his "ideas" were there with GW Bush and they didnt work for eight years-why would we want to "stay the course" by getting onto McCains bus?

Obama is wisely keeping his options open rather than setting a specific agenda. The process begins with removing the same old song and dance from power. You dont put your ideas out there for McCain to have his "experts" dismiss with more lies. Bush and Rove already proved that facts are something to be disproved by "experts"-thus global warming (not to mention Kerrys heroism) were both put into question with a mere careful execution of doubt and lies.

The proper method of winning this election is putting the spotlight on McCain and his lack of anything but more of the same.

The election is not about Obama and his patriotism-it is about the failure of George W Bush and the neocon agenda and the importance of removing it from power.

So you really didn't want to know what Obama is including in his platform if you are unwilling to read what is on the web site.

Why did you ask?

I do and I did. Nice marketing.
McCain Has Never Claimed To Be 'Pro-Choice'.
by LeRoy_Was_Here
I am an Obama supporter, and I like your post, but John McCain has never claimed to be 'pro-choice'. Although he was a supporter of federally-funded stem-cell research, he has always been anti-abortion.
Re: Easiest Election Ever

I have experienced the new direction of the governor of New Jersey. Promised a whole bunch of new direction until he was elected. Obama has no clue what he is getting into and will make him a puppet.

I never claimed McCain or his web site was any better.

Re: Easiest Election Ever

Obama's web site Tax Policy Plan sends you to a Wall Street Journal article giving the Kool Aid drinker the appearance of a third party endorsement of his plan.

<link>

Turns out the article is written by Obama's advisers.

Messrs. Furman and Goolsbee are, respectively, economic policy director and senior economic adviser at Obama for America.

No sleaze here. LMAO.

You are correct that he never claimed to be pro-choice, but he did say that he wouldn't support overturning Roe v. Wade.
