It was a funny, well-written article with one unfortunate word choice and a poorly chosen title. Her broad point is that the disarray of Brazilian air transit invites disaster, and it's a valid one...

Apparently all those who know Ms Spiers are coming to her defense. But like the rest you just can't show empathy and divert the focus. But I do agree with her using a poorly chosen title and also the choice of words. That being said why not just apologize for such and move on? That is all the majority of the posters have asked for.
