I suppose that it doesn't help our cause to have idiots assaulting muslims for looking like terrorists, or to have idiot cartoonists make deliberately offensive cartoons about the prophet (I defend their right to cartoon, but not necessarily their right to publication), but really do you think those are the major issues on the minds of Muslims considering conversion to terrorism? Probably they are only icing on the cake.

The wonderful thing about Patel's commentary is that it allows us ordinary citizens to make peace with the muslims. As long as we treat Arab and Muslim individuals with respect, so long as we don't physically assault the citizens of our countries than any further terrorism on their part must need be evidence of pure insanity and evil.

Unfortunately Muslim anger at the west is not limited to controversy over whether a muslim girl can wear a head-scarf in grammer school, but also whether marines in Haditha should be given the opportunity to rape and murder 14 year old Iraqi girls and their families. Now I know someone is going to say that "that doesn't represent all marines" and I know this, but it was only able to happen because we are there and we are only there because George W's intelligence was "mistaken" something he has admitted, but which he hasn't done anything to rectify.

In short this is another one of those articles which purports to get "in the minds" of terrorists and their recruits, but only barely grazes the target. If we are to demonstrate to Muslims that we are not targeting them then we must do more than not assault them in our neighborhoods we should try not to assault them abroad.

What about Munich, Germany where the Israeli athletics were brutally murdered. What about the BATH party of Sadam, historically having a link back to a pack made with Adolf Hitler and the NAZI party. What about those that think it's right to commit suicide and kill innocent women and children in their path, to spread their hateful religion of war and terror. ISLAM hates because the Qu'ran preaches hate, justifies hate, and wants muslims to hate or they are worthless. That's why in America, we need to watch the Nation Of Islam as if they were a radical skin head neo-nazi party. I'm not saying all Muslims are bad people, no even close. I am saying that the Qu'ran justifies hate and spreading fear and control and intolerance to any difference or questioning. I also have read that in many muslim countries that it is taught that to school children how the west are all infidels, that George W. is responsible for 911, and that Jews are compared to swine. That's hate and intollerance and teaching children to hate no matter how you argue.

oh yeah, and about 99% of terrorist acts in this world are committed by western and jew hating Muslims, so yes, we need to stereo type and racial profile at our airports and etc.... Christians and Jews are not going around killing people for because there religion says so, not very many. once in awhile you'll have a bad apple like Eric Robert Rudolph bombing abortion clinics and gay bars, but he's the very minority. I'm a Christian and i don't believe that. It's Gods decision to judge and condemn, no mans.

False-to-fact. President Clinton took action in all those cases, including the arrest of terrorists in connection with the previous WTC bombing. he also launched attacks on al-Qa'ida in Afghanistan.

Not our problem, and Israel dealt with the perpetrators by raiding their hideouts and killing several of the plotters, I believe.

The Ba'ath Party isn't the only ones with links to Hitler and Nazis. Look up the links between Zionist terrorism and Naziism, specifically 'Lehi' or 'the Stern Gang.'

The Nation of Islam isn't really Islamic, as you'd know if you looked it up or knew anything about it. It's a weird, racist offshoot of Islam that is not recognized by most Muslims.

I can't understand if muslim is a religion then why is it so full of hate? is it because they are jealous of our prosperity and way of l ife but there is no one telling them they can't do the same thing is there/? or is it their religion that holds them back.

as far as the rape and vilolence against the muslims by the military remember these young people ar taught to kill on sight and the people on the other side are enemys so maybe they think they are entitled to do what they want to do to punish them all.
