Based on our humanity, one would think that our lives are advantaged by the plethora of advancements we enjoy from the pool of humanity (societies) we live in, even as our base animal instincts guard our individual interests.
Did you invent and build your own automobile from scratch, including the mining of metals and other resources for the materials needed to construct and fuel it?
Perhaps it is time we learn about the nature of things and how all things are intertwined. We may be smart and inventive, but we draw from the collective intelligence and inventiveness of the societies (social) we live in. The wealth enjoyed by many is the result of the health of the society they live in. Employment too is the result of a healthy society.
We need one another folks, from the top to the bottom and from the bottom to the top, the sooner we recognize that the sooner we can get to work on a sustainable future where people work together instead of against one another.
You can be anti-social if you like, but remember where all the things you take advantage of in your life (including your income) come from.
