Another known associate of Barack Obama has come undone under the weight of scandal. Not since Rezko's conviction has their been a person who has known Obama to crumble under so much scrutiny recently.

Obama must pack it in now since Edwards was not only in the same party, but was also mentioned as a valid candidate for Vice president months ago. The Obama campaign must be sorry now that they sought Edwards' support.

Now, all McCain has to do is put out an ad about Obama's close relationship with this admitted philanderer and the abuse he has heaped upon Elizabeth, soon to be known as Edwards' first wife, not just the cheating, but the abandonment of an ill wife. And Obama was running in the same election.

Knowing Edwards has got to hurt Obama. It's good. Not abandoning your crippled wife for a younger woman good. But its the best McCain has right now. And he really needs to play it up.

I guess Obama is responsible for everyone's comments and behavior. We live in an immoral society and then act like a saint. Why bother with someone's personal life?

Unfortunately Gatesta's comments will be exactly the spin that FoxNews will put on the scandal. And the mainstream media, lacking either the capability of independent thought or a spine, will likely echo this viewpoint.

So Obama is responsible for Edwards' affair? Why not make him responsible for McCain's affair while you're at it? Throw JFK on there for good measure. Obama gave a speech in Germany like JFK, and JFK was a womanizer, so that's got to hurt Obama, right?

And just to correct your facts, Edwards isn't divorced, nor shows any signs of being so in the near future. They seem to have moved on. He was unfaithful, which I won't defend, but didn't abandon his wife. McCain, on the other hand, did abandon his first wife for a hot blonde with millions of dollars. If the Edwards thing bothers you, you must really be losing sleep over McCain's past.

If you're really trying to build a coffin for Obama, you're going to have to do better than that.

Personally, I've never forgiven Obama for the whole Bay of Pigs thing...
