We'll meet, Cherokee. I'll drive to Tahlequah but I've got to finish here first.

Have a good one.

Perhaps in due time we will meet. All of us. In fact, through a stroke of luck MasterJay and I are meeting the end of this month for dinner when he visits this neck of the woods. I think it will be great to chat one-on-one with him. Hopefully, I will get to see lots of others sometime or other.

Gramps

That could be a lot of fun. Don't know if we could pull it off, but it would be fun!

It would be great fun to meet up and just sit around and chat. Unfortunately, I seem to be the furthest east and physical handicaps wule out travel for me. Loree kindly invited me to visit her and as much as I'd like to meet gace to face, had to decline.

It's a shame that you're handicapped and out of the range of an easy trip. I'd love to meet you.

Hell, with the technology we have, we can still meet. I'll bet you have video capabilities.

Just a thought.

Hi Cherokee...........Meeting the posters is ALWAYS fun.

Since it is close to time for the Walnut Valley Bluegrass Festival (national flat-picking competitions and more) it will soon be the 'anniversary of when Leonard and I met Jack Dallas and his lovely wife, and Jimmy C....even though we were on oppositie sides of the political fence, we still had a great time...Played a lot of cards, ate far too much, because the day we had all planned to take in the Festival, it was POURING down rain and cold! It is held the middle of September, so the extremes in the weather are as much a part of the festival, as the great music!

I'm still wrestling with my own health problem...the pace maker put on 'hold' temporarily, while they wait to see if the medications will do the trick. After almost 4 weeks on those, I can guarantee them that they are not working!

Still I'm trying to ride it out until this coming next Friday, when that cardiologist and I are coming to have our OWN meeting. Something is going on, that isn't good, and it's HER job to try and 'fix' it. I'm starting to feel like I am the experiment of a mad scientist...and that the experiment may be one of those that goes 'wrong'!

I think it's a wonderful idea to try and meet...and I might even try to take it in (if I'm invited) and if I am feeling a whole lot better. It's only a two hour drive to your neck of the woods, and I've been waiting on you to make your promise good, about coming up here:-)

Take care...it's raining here today, finally! That causes mixed emotions...I wanted the rain so I don't have to water stuff, yet the price of the rain is the 'lost signal' on the televisions throughout the house. Oh well...no one ever said life was smooth sailing:-)

Got it, Shirley. But I have to admit that I'm not much on conversing via e-mails. I'd much rather do it real time or with video.

Have a good day.

I would like to think that Jack, and for that matter, TB, are ok people and seriously would like to meet them. I'll bet they're like the person I said I met a few yrs. ago. I just like to yank their chains from time to time when they let loose with their bs.

This place can be boring from time to time. I've had some somewhat meaningful discussions with people here but have noticed that when cornered by me, they abandon the thread. No big deal. I can take or leave it.

Anyway, I'd appreciate it if you would give me Cherokee's e-mail. I'm looking forward to meeting him and his significant other.

Thinking has taken on a whole new meaning
by JackDallas

Thinking, as Cherokee describes it, seems to mean that one has lost the ability to think at all.

Re:I'd invite you.

I don't think "thinkers" have to all think the same thoughts...Jack and Bob would be invited to mine ,too.

As would Berz etc...."thinking" isn't always agreeing.

Um, Jack....
