Apparently there is a new rule for those seeking to run for public office:

Never be seen in private with someone else's baby.

It doesn't matter if the mother says you're not the father. It doesn't matter if the FATHER says you're not the father. If you are caught anywhere near somebody else's baby that is not a staged campaign photo op, then you will be presumed to be the father of the baby.

"If," Mickey? Yeah..."if" Gore had said he invented the internet, it would be a huge gaffe.

But he didn't.

"If" Kerry had lied about his tour in Vietnam, it would have been a huge problem.

But he didn't.

"If" Clinton (either one) had killed Vince Foster, it would be the crime of the century.

But neither did.

Do you have any proof at all for your claims? All you have is a picture of him holding the baby of a former staffer. A baby the mother claims he didn't father. A baby another man claims. Do you have anything of actual substance?

You mean you haven't done any investigating of this at all? Talked to no witnesses? Done no research?

And you wonder why you're dismissed as a hack.

I question if he even saw that. There's a man, sort of Edwardsish looking, holding a baby. If you gave a picture like that as evidence, I doubt a jury would be able to use it.

And maybe no Clintons had Vince Foster killed, but Hillary had his office cleaned out before the feds could come, so somebody was covering up something.

Just this week Edwards ducked out of the back after a speech avoiding all reporters.

If he's not guility, why is he acting so guilty?

No, he didn't and no, it's not.

What were his exact words? And what was the question that led up to it? He was in an interview with Wolf Blitzer who was asking him about his accomplishments in the Senate. He responded by listing off various things that he, as a Senator, had done.

And, indeed, the bill that funded the High Performance Computing and Communication Act of 1991 which led to the internet as we know it today, is called...

..."The Gore Act."

To pretend that Gore's statement that he "took the initiative in creating the internet" was some sort of implication that he was pulling all nighters coding the TCP/IP stack in Pascal while subsisting on Hot Pockets and Mt. Dew is to show that you're not actually interested in reality.

"One of the missions, which Kerry, at the time, was ordered not to discuss, involved taking CIA operatives into Cambodia to search for enemy enclaves."

As US News and World Report reported, Kerry...

"made his first forays into Cambodia during the Vietnam War as a Navy lieutenant on clandestine missions to deliver weapons to anticommunist forces."

Except that there wasn't anything to cover up. Remember, Ken Starr carried out the third (THIRD!) investigation into Foster's death and found it to be nothing more than a suicide.
