Evidence?
by parker

So nice of the XXers to blog about how the family courts are allegedly biased against men. Where is the factual evidence? I don't give a hoot about all these anecdotes. Show me some data that say that, all things being equal, a mother will win custody of the children due to gender bias. It's not possible because each case is unique and must be decided on it's individual merits. I doubt there is any way to prove that gender bias is at work throughout the system.

I'd also like to see some evidence of the claim that feminism is to blame. Perhaps XX could interview some family court judges that would be willing to expound upon how "feminism" (perhaps even Second Wave Feminism, specifically) has caused them to be biased in their decisions?

And so we are left with speculation that is presented as fact--yet more false rhetoric that serves absolutely no profit to anyone in any way, whatsoever.

Check out the Leadership Council for some summaries of Gender Bias Task Forces.

Same response. It cannot be proven to be systemic. Only on a case by case basis, possibly. I never claimed otherwise.
