Of Course Negative Adds Work
by mrliberal
When a country is sufficiently dumbed down, people believe anything they want to believe, the facts be damned.

And no country has done a better job of dumbing down than America!

I am going to take a beating for this but I don't find the adds really all that negative. At first I thought they were just silly and stupid, and then I thought wtf?,,,,,,,,Then I thought about it some more and it occurred to me that they are actually.....rather clever.

See Obama has (with the exception of Harding?) the thinniest resume of anyone ever having rcvd a major party nomination for President of USA in our countries history. Like it or not, there is an image of him as all flash an no substance. His speech in Berlin which has largely back fired on him in retrospect in front of adoring crowds is now widely scene as a premature victory lap. He is adored, loved but millions of Americans are still asking who is he? What does he stand for? His speeches offer little in substance, he is over his head when it comes to foreign policy, he does not have a clear voice on the economy (either does McCain for that matter).

So painting him as celebrity works. Not because he is on the same level as some blonde bimbo starlett by any means but because of his razor thin resume and lack of experience. Either way the image sticks.

Honestly in light of everyone speculating if McCain has altzheimer's I find the adds on the lighter side of things.

If America elects McCain we will get four more years of wars, deficits, larger government and the borrow and spend policies of Bush43.

If Obama is elected we will have? Nationalized oil companies ( as long as we using gross exagerations)? A war with Pakistan? A nuclear Iran? An expansion of Goverment on scale to include a Health care for all? Increased taxes on small buisness (I can only assume taxes on people making $225,000.00 and up means small buisness). No plan to shore up are domestic oil supply while we work on alternative energy. A windfall profits tax on Oil companies, does anyone know what thats going to do to our pension and 401k system in this country? Possible effects on inflation? .............(I will have to grab my Karl Marx handbook).

Iraq,,,things go south are we just going to leave the country in chaos that breeds movements like the Taliban, shrug our shoulders and just say,,,"Well gee-whiz we just should not have been there anyway"....after all whats possible genocide anyway...

No one needs to ask who McCain is
by The Real RML

He has clearly stated he is the next edition of George W Bush.

Try and find ONE difference in his agenda.

Just one.

John McCain=More of the Same
