Not sure where I saw this but I recently read that China had denied entry visas for alts on the women and men's US gymnastic teams. The alts can not enter china and have to practice separately from the team in japan. Apparently, the hosting country must automatically grant entry to olympic contestants but alts have to apply for visas. No explanation was given by the article except it did hint that China was determined to win the golds on its home soil for those events and the US team was favored to win. Kinda reminds me of the games hitler played in the berlin olympics.

Candoxx, please read what is written rather than just assuming things. The alts applied for entry visas to china. China denied the entry visas to the alts. This is why they have to practice in japan. The US gymnastics team is favored to win the gold in the upcoming olympics, a gold which the chinese have set their hearts on winning. The hitler comment was referring to the germans playing psych out games with the other countries' teams in order to give an advantage to the german home team.
