The Commander-in-chimp was at a fund-raiser for a republican congressional candidate (why the candidate wanted Dumbya is a mystery, but I digress).

The chimp was talking about the housing situation and in his inimitable way he likened it to a drinking binge, saying Wall Street is now suffering from a hang-over and he doesn't know how long it will take to recover.

So, in talking about the Iraq war and the struggling economy should someone be saying that George W. Bush got drunk, and we're all suffering with his hang-over?

Phil Gramm of the McCain campaign doesn't think so. He said it's all in our heads and that we're all just a bunch of whiners.

And, what does Senator McCain say? "Stay The Course."

Well, shit! That makes it all right, doesn't it!

Can you imagine what McCain said when he found out what Gramm had said?

If he publicly talks about Cindy being a "trollup" and a C-word he must have used some really inventive language on good old Phil.
