Grandpa McWhine- what will he say today?

Yesterday we learned from McWhine, that Obama is a traitor. Yes, "he would rather lose a war in order to win a political campaign".

See.. Obama doesn't understand Iraq or foreign policy. That may be why he is performing brilliantly, gaining consensus from Maliki and other top leaders, driving foreign policy with Bushlandians, draining 3 pointers from behind his left ear, and why his left pinky looks more presidential at this point than Grandpa McWhine's entire withered old body.

Thats may be why McWhine talked about Czechoslovakia (which doesn't exist) for the 4th time in a week.

And that may be why why McWhine pulled another whopper out of his butt and said that the Sunni awakening occurred "because" of the suuuuurge, when it fact it was underway at least 2 months before the surge was even a gleam in McWhiney's eye.

8:40 AM EST on Weds July 23rd 2008. Can you guess what McWhine will say today?

I'd say "something stupid"

What he said is correct. Either Obama's stance against the surge was politically motivated because that's what the Democratic base wanted or he was just plain wrong about it. I suppose we could give him the benefit of the doubt and just say he was wrong (and would therefor make a lousy CinC)...
Lol..

It's all in how you word it. I think it was something more like "the Sunni awakening in Anbar SUCCEEDED because of the surge." But I realize that doesn't fit with the left's desire to denigrate the efforts of the US military. Regardless, please, by all means, proceed with that political strategy...

Whatever you do, don't impugn McCain's character. He did something worthy 40 years ago which allows him to say any nasty thing he pleases and then lead the entire political establishment in a group whine if anyone calls him on it.

And let's hear no more about how modest the maverick is. When's the last time you heard a candidate, much less a certified, unassailable hero, bragging about how courageous he is? I'm not sure I even ever heard the Codpiece go quite that far.
Here's how he worded it...

Nice spin- no banana for you!

"Because of the surge we were able to go out and protect that sheik and others. And it began the Anbar awakening. I mean, that's just a matter of history".

Yes, how silly of him. Everyone knows it's much better if, say, the candidate just has his staff make comments that equate him to being the President already, like Obama...

So what? Like I said before, at least some of the military's actions before the surge were taken in anticipation of being able to sustain them because the surge was on its way. All this parsing is just a concerted effort to defend Obama's vote against the surge, but it just comes off as denigrating the efforts of the military. By all means, proceed...
