As the old Religious Right dies off....Falwell, Pat Robertson, Orel Roberts....the younger evangs are not in it for the "abortion and gays" stuff. They don't care if their kids see a gay couple...and certainly don't have any bloodlust against them...they want a better country and better planet.

I guarentee Nano is in his 50s, probably 60s...and his church not much bigger than Phelps' Westboro. And I'd also guarentee that he loses kids from the congregation at a rate almost as bad as the Amish.

20 years from now, he'll be as much a dinosaur as the old Bull Connor preachers of the 50s who endorsed segregation and Jim Crow were by 1970.
