Meryl Streep seemed to be having a blast, as did the rest of the cast. Meryl's 59, a couple of the other "girls" (Walters and Baranski) must be in their fifties, this poster is 65, and I didn't care a fiddle about the so-called issue of casting older women in these parts. Because: they were good! Meryl doing the splits in mid-air on that bed was beyond great, besides which she certainly knows how to deliver a song. Rita Walters, whom I have always liked (recent performances in Billy Elliot as well as the Harry Potter series) was also a lot of fun to watch, and she looked wonderful.
