Lets get one thing straight...
by HST-libertarian
When left wingers here try to be helpful by pointing out how moderate and bi-partisan President Barack Obama will in dealing with ultra-liberal legislation coming out of the Pelosi/Reid Congress, they are doing the equivalent of a Bushie telling us in 2000 that George W. Bush is a uniter not a divider...

Obama or McCain = We're FUCKED!

Then of course there is the alternative. A new (hand-tailored) "event" creating martial law and a continuance of the Bush dictatorship. The writing is on the wall and the legislation is in the books. Which nightmare will it be, that is the question?

It's refreshing to see a con with something useful to think about..

Yes, I understand completely

...that you've become a lying, partisan right-wing pig, HST. No doubt in my mind at all that that's the case.

Thanks for clearing up any remaining doubts I may have had...

LOL

"Sarge's" prognostications give me hope for the future, given his generally inept analyses of EVERYTHING.

Reid won't be in charge long, and your claims about Schumer are simply dishonest...

Here's a classic...

I love to revisit...and this one is Number One with a bullet!

get behind McCain. He's the best hope to cut spending and he's got Phil Gramm on his team who has perhaps one of the best economic minds on the planet...
Heh

Scratch that 'brilliant economic mind,' I guess. Just getting Bush out of office will help the economy tremendously...

...as Bush has already warned them. But if they go ahead, we should bomb Tel Aviv in response. Or at the very least, cut off ALL aid to Israel for an indefinite period.Me, I don't think that's likely to happen, though...

Al-Qai'da, Bush Administration a lot alike

Both conduct stupid 'wars' for no good reason, both invade other countries without anyone's permission, both kill lots of civilians and give out only feeble excuses..

And just how exactly...
by Number_58

will the economy turn around after Bush leaves office?

Was Bush responsible for the American people buying everything on credit and taking out mortgages they knew they could never pay back?

That's one of the biggest problems with liberals...they do not require anyone to take responsibility for their own actions; all they want to do it come up with a government program, funded by the wealthy, to bail out those that are not good stewards of their own finances.

Largely yes. There was never as little oversight on American corporations than under the Bush regime.

To start, the economy will turn around because we'll quit spending 20 billion a month (counting interest and post combat care for vets) after we get the hell out of Iraq.

Amazing there are ANY of you 18%-ers who still think Boy Blunder is great left.
