In no way do I view McCain's slackard existence as an equal to men and women taken prisoner in real military movements. This was a sole man flying his own jet. Bottom of the naval academy class, womanizer and drunkard. His superior officers had no business putting that buffoon on the field of battle. Compare that with pitched battles where platoons of men died and a handful survived. McCain boasts of his military ineptitude, the real POW's live life in quiet humility and honor. It is quite the contrast.

He didn't fly drunk. He passed all the requirements for that assignment. He did the job, but was shot down and captured. Your attack makes you look bad, not McCain.
