Dana! Add Spoiler Warning Or Delete

Dana, I was looking forward to your review, curious as to see if you would be stoned to oblivion by outraged readers. But you have accidentally revealed two plot twists and I am sure it was an oversight. Spoiler Warning don't read this if you haven't seen film. You mention Commissionar Gordon gives an unconvincing speech at end of film........Yikes! you just revealed the endings of two very compelling and suspensful plot threads in less than those 8 or 10 words. You should warn or better re-write as your editiorial of that scene is not all that convincing or even correct, for remember the content was agreed upon between the two portagonists.

Otherwise I actually feel you grasped quite well the triumphs of this film but I must add for those who can: SEE THIS FILM IN IMAX - a galvanizing experience adding immeasurably to the enjoyment.

I beg to differ that it was a spoiler, given that we know how the plot threads have to resolve (even though we might be in total shock and disbelief), because Commissioner Gordon is a character in subsequent movies (even though they're not meant to be contiguous) and in the comic.
MAJOR Spoilers

Forget what we know from the comic -- many of us movie lovers don't read it or know the comic lore inside and out.

It was a MAJOR spoiler to write that -- to even write about a movie's ending -- not to forget the other major spoiler where she describes what happens to the robbers during the opening six minutes of the movie.

Some viewers want to see that stuff unfold for themselves.

As a counterpoint, I will state that I read the review, then watched the movie 5 hours later. If I am representative of the viewing audience in any way whatsoever, I remembered nothing of the review, spoilerish or not, as I sat glued to my seat and hyperventilating into my popcorn box to keep myself from passing out with sheer glee. I loved this movie and I am trying desperately to keep myself at work and refrain from a 3.5 hour lunch break to rewatch the movie.

Perhaps some less addle-minded than me will be spoiled, and it certainly should be marked, but damn if I was expecting anything that happened in that movie.
