I make a point of staying agnostic on Israel/Palestine issues, but I'll just say that there's a lot of dehumanization on all sides in that conflict. That said, yeah, anybody who welcomes Samir Kuntar as a hero is pretty sick.

Didn't Israel bomb Lebanon in recent memory? Do you think that the Lebanese like the Israelis? I do hope that Israel learns how to make peace with its neighbors. I don't know how that is going to happen.

I know I can't shut up about this particular issue, so forgive me, but just out of curiosity: why do you make a point to have no opinion on it? Do you know anything about the issue?

I've seen and heard all kinds of things about the issue, from all sides. I see about equal amounts of real grievance and bad faith from all the actors. None of what I've seen leads me to favor any one position.
