You know as well as I do that fundie support for Israel is based on the Biblical claim that there must be a Jewish state in existence in order for the Rapture to occur.

So it follows** that the fundies must be anti FundIslam because FundIslam threatens the continued existence of the Jewish state, and therefore the possible occurrence of the Rapture.

So what's not parallel?

And BTW, we know that Rapturism in the SBC is to be taken very seriously because it is at the root of the Baptist/neocon alliance.

I speak here of the conservative hard-core SBC, not the moderate baptists like Carter and those at Baylor and Belmont who are trying to migrate their flocks to the 20th century in the hopes that they'll eventually reach the 21st.

The SBC convinces its children that Daddy is doin God's work as his F-18 provides close air support in Anwar province and murders other children ...oops ... accidentally causes some collateral damage that every one knows is unavoidable in the prosecution of righteous wars.

Thats not the same thing either. For many reasons.

Our forces indeed try to avoid collatreal damage and I know that means women and children. We have lost men and women in battle because they were being careful to avoid injuring women and children.

The madras intentionally use women and children to murder themselves because the leaders of these religious schools will not fight for what they believe in themselves. Its easier to trick the kids into it.

For you to compare what our forces do to what these madras's teach their young children to do shows what a true lack of knowledge you have with regards to reality.

Our forces put themselves in more harms way than they have to in order to avoid hurting bystanders. Your favorite little suicide bombers go out of their way to murder innocent bystanders as they blow themselves up. meanwhile the cowardly adults who trick these children into killing themselves sit safely in their homes sipping tea.

If Americans didn't care about avoiding civilian casualtys we would never put a boot on the ground anywhere, We would simply use huge bombs from the air until everything was gone. But we don't.

No other nation has provided more humanitarin help to the poor on this planet than the United States. Does our country make mistakes? Yes.
