Jim Borgman's cartoon linking the current contretemps about the Obama cover of the New Yorker to the great Steinberg New Yorker's view of America is brilliant. If only the New Yorker itself could run it as its next cover.
I'm mostly with Jon Stewart in regarding this whole business as much ado about (mostly) nothing, and a suitable object of ridicule of nearly everyone who has pronounced piously and pompously on our predicament. Borgman captures it perfectly. Bravo!
