...that Obama will 'save the dollar'.

How will a policy of borrow, tax and spend MORE do that?

Any of you Hopeheads able to answer that one?

You posted the exact same stuff in 1992 when it was Clinton, didn't you? LOL

Well, that's what republishits've, especially Herr Dubya, been doing all along to the middle and lower class folks all along.

How's that working so far for us?

And by the way, the only ones who're gonna pay higher taxes will be the filthy rich, and that only via having the taxes that the robber baron neo-con administrations rolled back bumped back to where they belong.

Gotta pay for what you republishits have done to this nation, buddy.

I don't know what you pretend would fix the economy. I know we need our infrastructure fixed, which means jobs. I know we need our middle class supported and the gap between rich and poor narrowed. I do know that the Iraq War isn't helping. I do know we need the mortgage market to get under control without too many more foreclosures. I do know we need to regulate the banks and keep more of them from making predatory and unsafe loans. I do know we need to lessen our dependency on oil in a hurry. (Drilling will take too long, even if it would work, and it wouldn't work). Less uncertainty (the loose cannon nature of the present administration has caused lots of uncertainty) will help the stock market.

Those things would help the economy and the dollar.

1: 250K a year isn't "filthy rich". It's business owners and the prople who provide goods and services.

2: How the fuck is spending MORE money going to pay off anything?

Thaks for trying though.

How is MORE SPENDING....

You don't understand Obama's platform at all. The Iraq withdrawal will save us over 150 billion dollars a year. That means less borrowing. He's looking to raise taxes on the wealthy and that means less borrowing. He's looking to reform healthcare and we all know that the US healthcare system is the most expensive and least efficient in the industrialized world. If he reforms healthcare, that means Americans will spend less. Sort of like a tax cut but better. If we develop alternative energy like he proposes, we will decrease our demand of oil and that will cause the price of oil to drop. That means we will spend less.

Compare and contrast this with McCain's tax cuts for the wealthy and his Iraq war spending spree and you can see who the irresponsible candidate is. More debt and more borrowing, less money for Americans, more money for Iraqis. He should run for president of Iraq. He has no business running here.

Crying in the Penthouse???

1. There is no crying in the penthouse...$250,000 and above is the top 1.5% of earners. Got that? Top 1.5%. Means that 98.5% of earners make less.

2. If some of the money spent is done so dealing with the unbelievably disgustingly anti-American debt that W has presided over...possibly we gain some more stable financial footing.

Very good.

You're getting closer to real answers....but tell me.

..moving troops from Iraq to Afghanistan will save us ZERO dollars. In fact it will cost more to mive them than to leave therm where they are.

Nixon, depending on the figures used, which would make him the last American president to give us a balanced budget, as Clinton fell $20 billion short in his best year, 2000.
