Everybody has already recieved their economic stimulus checks by now and just what positive result was achieved??

I saw this 600 dollar giveaway as inadequate to jump start the economy and worse, it increased our deficit.

Can anybody point to positives achieved in the economy by handing out these checks?

Or is the answer that it prevented things from being worse than they would have been w/o a check?

Drug and alcohol sales increased to help numb millions of sorrows.

There is no such thing as an economic stimulus package. Or did the democrat lead congress have one in the past year or two that I did not notice? Pulling out of Iraq might have been a shot in the arm, though.

I haven't receive my check, so I go to the IRS website, do an inquiry and am informed I didn't qualify because I used an allegedly invalid Taxpayer Identification Number on my return. Now I gotta go to the IRS office and try to explain who they screwed up.

It worked great for the oil companies since they got most of the money. People had to use the "stimulus" check to pay for gas to get back and forth to work, pay their rent, and buy groceries.

The positives were supposed to be that George got to look good, but then gas kept going up, up , and up along with everything else, so $600 didn't go very far.

Not to worry, our kids and grandkids will be paying for the administration's screw-up, we can sit back and rest. LMAO!

I'm hoping they're going to consider us when we do file (because I'm going to owe and they can apply my $600 to that amount)
